Mechanical Systems

Technology facilities are not only saturated with equipment inside, but outside as well. The additional air conditioning system requires condensing units outside. Placement of the mechanical condensing units have similar requirements as back-up generators. In many cases the condensing units and the back-up generator can be placed in the same mechanical yard. Piping distance from the interior air handling units to the exterior condensing units is one of the greatest concerns of these mechanical systems. In some cases it is better to place the mechanical units on the roof and the generator on the ground floor.
